The use of camphor oil to treat cats

Camphor oil for cats has an antiseptic and locally irritating effect. It eliminates pain and relieves inflammation. The drug has a bacteriostatic effect aimed at combating strepto, pneumo, tetra and staphylococci.

Oil is applied to the skin. After application, a short-term cold is felt on the skin surface, which is subsequently replaced by a sensation. The agent during this time is completely absorbed and begins its medicinal effect. The course of treatment is from 10 days. Oil therapy is canceled if mastitis disappears earlier. With a purulent form of the disease, massage is prohibited.
